What is a voice activated recorder?
A voice activated recorder starts recording when it detects voices and pauses during silence, so you only save the conversation. Unlike most voice recorders, every One Click has technology that boosts and isolates the frequencies of the human voice, so speech comes through clearly over background noise. All three also have continuous mode and scheduled recording.
What is the best voice activated recorder for me?
Choose the Pro ($149) for the longest recording time and password protection. Choose the Pen ($129) if you want a voice recorder that is also a working ink pen, or the Micro ($99) for a thin, magnetic recorder about 2 x 1 x 1/8 in.
How long does the battery last?
The Pro records 120 hours continuous, or up to 120 days in voice activated mode at about 1 hour a day. The Pen records 20 hours (up to 20 days voice activated) and the Micro 28 hours (up to 28 days). Each battery recharges from any computer, phone, wall or car charger.
How far away can an audio recorder hear voices?
The Pro hears voices up to 60 feet away, the Pen up to 50 feet, and the Micro up to 40 feet.
Do I need an app or a subscription?
No. Many voice recorders require an app and a monthly subscription. One Click requires neither. Each model is a USB voice recorder that plugs straight into a Mac, Windows PC, iPhone or Android like a USB drive. Files are MP3 (the Pro and Micro also offer PCM) with date and time stamps.
Does it work as a recording device for car trips?
Yes. Voice activated mode saves only the talking, and the magnetic Pro and Micro stay put on metal surfaces. The battery recharges from any computer, phone, wall or car charger.
Is this a listening device?
No. It is a voice recorder device for recording your own conversations, meetings and notes. Please follow your local recording consent laws.
Are your small recording devices silent?
Yes. All three are silent with no lights, so they work as discreet recording devices. One click starts recording.
Is shipping free, and can I return it?
Yes. Every recording device ships free by fast UPS Ground, and orders placed by 4PM ship the same day. You have 90 days to return it.
What warranty do you offer?
